Tahiti bathroom

Welcome home. We just finished working on this master bathroom remodel. The goal was for the homeowners to feel like they were on vacation in Tahiti when they were in their bathroom. I think we did an excellent job interpreting their goals and dreams.

In the first photo the star of the room was the rectangular floating bathtub. We wanted to showcase this area, so we framed both side walls in a split face Versailles patterned travertine. The back wall we faux painted to look like antique highly distressed with faded water cracks. New chandelier in oil rubbed bronze dressed up with just a touch of crystals. The floor is done in a pebble pattern stone design, so feel like you are walking off onto the beach.

“Car wash” Shower. Rain head, shower head and four body sprays makes this shower pretty fantastic. We decorated the walls of the shower to mimic the area around the bath tub. Using the spit face Versailles pattern on top, paired with a stone and glass listell, then brought in the larger travertine tiles from the flooring to lead your eye up the wall. What you can’t see in the picture is the floor of the shower is done in the pebble stones as well.

Cabinets were glazed to look antique, rugged and worn. Dressed with square oil rubbed bronze hardware to match and a slab of travertine for the counter top.
